Sing, Sing, Sing...

Lately I've gotten into swing dancing and found it's something I can't seem to get enough of. I've gone to seven swing dances in about 3 weeks, and am stoked to go to another one tonight. I always had a love for musicians like Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, and Django Reinheardt. There's something about the music, style, mindset and life style of the 1920's, 30's, and 40's that I absolutly love. Now, I don't go to these swing dances dressed in a zoot suit or anything but I do love the way people act at these places. I like going to a dance and not grinding up on some girl I just met; swing is REAL dancing is what I'm trying to say.

I must have just missed you, brother! I just returned from a fantastic night of masonic fellowship in celebration of Robert Burnes. Met some great new brother masons and had some great scotch. All in all a great night. I'll check out the pic. you up loaded right away.
